Victorian Government announces $1m in funding for Central Victorian Advanced Manufacturing alliance

In order to support the growing of manufacturing in Central Victoria the partnership between Bendigo Manufacturing Group, La Trobe University and the City of Greater Bendigo has been granted $1 million in funding. Victorian Government backs Melbourne start-up Applied EV to roll out world-first technology

$3.7 Million to the Australian manufacturing sector

The federal government has given $3.7 Million to six Australian Manufacturers through co-founded grants administered by the advance Manufacturing Growth Centre AMGC. $250 million Circuit Breaker Business Support Package to assist small to medium businesses.

The Victorian Government has launched a support package to assist Victorian businesses affected during the fourth lockdown announced on 27 May 2021.   The package includes: a $190.01 million second round of the Business Costs Assistance Program a $40.7 million new round of the Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund a $20 million in targeted support for the events industry. RMIT researchers develop road making material from disposable face masks

RMIT researchers develop road making material from disposable face masks   In order to avoid tons of waste to go to the landfill after the pandemic RMIT university has founded an innovative way to use disposable face masks for the construction of roads. For instance: a two-lane road will require three million of disposable masks.
