RMIT researchers develop road making material from disposable face masks

In order to avoid tons of waste to go to the landfill after the pandemic RMIT university has founded an innovative way to use disposable face masks for the construction of roads. For instance: a two-lane road will require three million of disposable masks.

The inclusion of disposable masks for roads will also improve the mechanical characteristics of the construction.
